Finally!

After 3 years of no meet ups, Honovi, Natalie, Abigail, Cassandra and me finally got the chance to catch up.
Natalie, who went to Nottingham to study towards the end of Primary 6, finally came back!
Missed her so much.We had meet ups every other day/week, and now that she's left, I'm already missing the times.
First meet up! From left, Honovi, Me, Natalie and Abigail
(Cass wasn't in the photo cause she was busy when we first met up)
Nat and me.
As you could see from my funny look, I was actually tip-toeing to look as tall as her in the photo.
Attempt failed.

I wish I could say there are more photos but most of them aren't with me right now. :(
Brother took the memory card to Vietnam.

Look what came in the mail today... SPECIAL DELIVERY!

and inside it was...

Quoting my cousin, Dina, it's "awesome sh*t"

So I was going through Tom Daley's website and they had this competition, so I decided to join, to see whether I could win, and sure enough, this came out on the 5th :

Of course, like any obsessed fan, I screamed, and the next thing I did was to sit by the mailbox everyday after school, two weeks passed, nothing. I started thinking that "Liza Marie" was somebody else and I started giving up hope, and what do you know? One week later, I checked the mailbox and I saw rainbows and glitters all over the envelope.

Gonna frame the photo up and laminate the envelope. Call me crazy, but yeah. I'm crazy. Deal with it.

Sorry to hold the news back for so long, but I just needed to be sure before I tell anyone about it, and now I'm sure :)

This Is Who I Am

I posted this photo before, but it's just so cool.

I admit I'm a self-obsessed person: on a good day, I see myself as the most beautiful person in the world; on a bad day however, I want to change everything about myself, but that rarely happens, only when my self-esteem is shattered.
My friends will automatically give me the "you-gotta-be-kidding" look and LOL whenever my SS (syok sendiri--self-obsession) side comes out, it's cool though, because I like making people laugh, and making myself laugh.
I don't think I'm short, I'm petite. I don't think I'm fat, I'm chubby. I don't think I'm smart, I just happen to know the answers.
I like the smell of my hair after the shower, I love my handwriting even though it's illegible. I like who I am.
Though there are downsides of being so into myself, like I worry about the weight I'll gain if I eat pasta and pizza on the same table, the shapes of my thighs if I don't work out often and so on. But..

I always try to stay as bright as the sun and won't let anything rain on me.

So cheesy oh! Anyways, my message to everyone is that being self-obsessed isn't a bad thing, as long as you love yourself no matter what. Family and friends support is recommended.

Our Final Destination

Not to be all melodramatic about it but, yes, in a few weeks, I'll be entering my "final destination". Life would halt at a standstill for that period of time and hopefully, I might be able to resume normally.
I'm not going to die, just going to sit for the PMR & UEC examinations alongside my friends. (but then, from another point of view it would seem that I just might "die")

Yeap, been writing about that the whole year. Can't wait to get over it actually, but still, I don't want it to come that fast. Come slow, go fast. Geddit?

Anyways, spent my day finishing up the final chapters of Book 1 on Pottermore. Finally! So I can now focus on my studies. Yeah right. Yes, yes I will.

Also today is the Mooncake Festival, aka the Mid-Autumn Festival! So happy mooncake eating to those who are celebrating! My family celebrated it yesterday so I'm staying off the mooncakes for now.

p/s: I haven't watched Final Destination and I would not watch it unless it's on HBO, so I could change the channel whenever I like. Just wanting to get it out there.

Just what have I been doing

I'm actually still on hiatus mode but I just wanted to give a little insight about what I have been doing for the past couple of weeks. Skipped school, went to the island, my first job as an interviewer/photographer, Raya and the visits from Oxford and Nottingham. Doesn't it sound exciting? Yes, it was.

Low line with the Internet so I might just post some photos and not blog for another couple of weeks.

We did charades and here's our team photo:

My awesome team with our awesome pic
from left Lezlee, Razi, Sabah and Me
They're just trying to be cool
from left Carl, Zulfi, Leon and Lois
Group photo!
 With the adults.

Now for the MICSS photos: (took only girls volleyball photos because was working there the whole competition)
These are a few of my favorite shots:

(there were more photos but the uploader was taking too long indeed, might try again later)

Please don't wake me up when September ends

It's the ninth month of the year and I can tell you, I am not looking forward to the tenth. Two major exams in October, with only two weeks in between them, and when the clock strikes 12 on the Hallowe'en night, I will jump for joy. Not that I hate every October, but it's what going on then that's very upsetting to the mind. Finals are always in this month and every year, I wish for only this month to pass by ASAP.

Anyways, let's focus on today's topic: September.
2nd half of the 2nd term will start next Monday (5th) and boy, would it be hectic.
Supposed to be getting ready for PMR and UEC by now and I haven't even started. *the feeling of regret starts*
With Pottermore constantly on my mind, it would be twice as hard to resist the temptations of the Internet.
Thankfully, God heard my pleas and made the Internet slower! but there's always WiFi.... NO.

My mom said I need to discipline myself if I was ever going to get good results. Yeah, like that would be hard. Pfft. *awkward silence*

Okay then, my famous last words before I go completely A-wall from the Internet again.

"Don't go making mistakes if you don't have the guts to admit them"

Till then.
