Hello there! Here's a few things to get to know me better:
I grew up in the lovely town of Kota Kinabalu. Childhood consisted of beaches, jungles, BBQs and tuition classes. I was born Liza Liew but my mother wanted me to have a middle name, 'Marie'. So I tried to make it my confirmation name but was rejected by the church. However, the internet does not oblige to the Catholic Church rules so online, I'm Liza Marie (or LizaAnnMarie on instagram - long story, not interesting).
Just graduated with BSc(Hons) in Psychology from University of Bath. One of the lucky few to land a job right after graduation. Currently working with LeadWomen as a inclusion and diversity consultant - playing a part in encouraging an inclusive workplace that helps women move up the career ladder.
I started this blog mainly to satisfy the narcissistic part of me and also as a way for me to express my thoughts in a somewhat creative manner. Thoughts expressed here are mostly intended to initiate conversations and find someone who relates to me, someone who will say "yes, I understand how you feel" because my journal (the notebook on my bedside table) does not talk back, like Tom Riddle's diary. So an online blog acting as a personal journal/advice section/friend seeker is why wherethekeysstrike still exists today.
A former competitive fencer, I am now more of a pilates person and a closet gym enthusiast - still searching for a gym near me.
