Sorry that I was falling in love with you..

*Note: this is my opinion and my point of view on things. I never meant to insult anybody or any sides, but if I did so, please bear in mind that it is purely unintentional and I am sorry. I'm just expressing myself.* and on with the long post!

What a way to end the holidays. It really was a bittersweet moment for me. Sweet because I got to see Anthony Neely LIVE and shook his hand (hajdhafhjdalfeufhjak!), bitter because well, it's a reminder that school's starting tomorrow, and an OMG moment.. my exam papers! *death music rolls in*
Well, the Anthony Concert was only awesome at the end. The front part was really irrelevant and unnecessary in my opinion. There was a speech, cutting of the ribbons, hitting of the gong. It was practically an opening ceremony sort of thing. There are only OPENING ACTS for concerts and a 7 minute speech is not considered as one. For a moment there, I was starting to feel ripped off. The crowd started going "倪安东!倪安东!” because nobody there wanted to watch a guy in batik singing a song from the Dinosaur Age.

Finally! The opening act started and there were 2 singers. Each of them sang 4 songs each and a duet. I preferred the second singer, who was a lady. She was okay. The winning point was when she sang "Jambalaya", it was just a really upbeat song, or as Anthony put it, "好 funk!"
The whole event started at 7:30pm but we only got to see Anthony at around 9:30pm. Well, isn't that splendid? *note sarcasm* But anyways, when he stepped out, the crowd went wild! I bet the YBs were all surprised and shocked, but hey, when you have a very good looking super star in a hall full of fans, you should come prepared.

 Our glowsticks :)

FINALLY, the music played and he opened his blessed vocal chords. Time just flew from then on. Waving our glow sticks and screaming and singing along to his songs. He sang 5 songs in total, wished he would sing more but I ain't complaining! It was really magical
Behold, the best photos I can take of Anthony. It was better than the Pixie Lott one I can tell you.

Thankfully, there was an album signing for his second album "Wake Up". I was really surprised and happy that he shook hands with everybody who went up for the album signing. He was an absolute charming man. When it was our turn, Fish went up first (she nearly forgot to shake his hand, I have a feeling she was a tad bit star struck), then it was Heidi, I thought she was going to say something like, "You are amazing, I love you" but she just stood there, shaking hands and stared at Anthony! I was a bit puzzled but found out later that they were sharing a moment. *oooOOooooOo*
Then it was my turn, before that, Heidi and I were telling each other that it was like meeting One Direction and Tom Daley, our hearts were pounding and when I placed my album in front of him, I mentally took photos of everything I saw, his ring tattoo on his left ring finger, his real ring on the middle one, how his hand felt when I shook it, his reaction when I told him that he was amazing and that mega-watt smile. It was like a dream that you wished it was a recurring one.

After that, all three of us went to the bottom of the stage and stood there staring at him until he finished with the signing. When he left, we tried to find him backstage but boy, was he quick. He was out of sight in less than 5 minutes. I had a feeling we missed him in one of the cars that passed us, but that was probably just my mind playing games with me .
His album, doesn't he look hot?

In the end, I'm sure all 3 of us were delighted to see Anthony Neely. I guess Heidi's starting her post concert depression now and I think I'm getting a bit of that. Then again, how can I not get a little depressed when school is tomorrow?! *bawling* Mum won't let me skip school. :(
Nevermind, she's just being an awesome mum. Love you Mumsy!

So yeah, it's getting late now, but I really want to see Tom Daley finish his British Champs and watch the Spain vs Italy match tonight! WHY THE TIMEZONES??

Oh very well then. VIVA LA ESPANA!
And pray that I won't flunk my finals. :/
Had so much fun with them :) <3

By the Thames..

Yesterday was one of the most historical event in the United Kingdom. It was the

Yes. Yes it was. Of course, being a fan of the royal family and the country itself, I stayed up and watch the event on BBC. The event lasted about 2 hours and it was just amazing to witness.
People from everywhere flooded both banks of the river and the bridges that crosses it. Thousands of boats from across the country sailed or cruised through the 5 mile river and flooded the Thames with beautiful colour and music.
To watch everybody on the banks wave the Union Jack despite the rainy weather, just goes to show how much they support the Queen. Just simply amazing.
Furthermore, while I was snuggled up on the sofa watching the whole flotilla, The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh and the rest of the royal family never sat down. Throughout the whole procession, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, The Duke and Duchess of Cambrige alongside their (royal) grandparents stood on the Royal Barge and waved at passing boats and audiences along the river.
Bearing in mind that Queen Elizabeth is 86 years old and Prince Philip is 91 years old. For them at their age to stand with grace and posture for more than 90 minutes is a remarkable thing to see. That's why they are awesome :)

So anyways, I took some pictures. Well, mostly on TV though. BUT! It makes me feel like I'm there. Just ignore the news strip at the bottom and the TV frame. ;)

People gathered at the streets of London.
The Prince Charles mask is cool.

 The elegant Queen :)
(ignore the big leaf, it's just a reflection)
The man-powered boats.
They have rowed for nearly 10 hours. How about pee break?

The Commonwealth flags :)
Didn't see the Jalur Gemilang at all.

Such a wonderful sight :)

The royal family on the barge.

Princess Anne in her uniform on the right there.

The Queen having a conversation with Camilia, the Duchess of Cornwall.

The majestic Royal Barge.

Look at them, all standing!

The Royal Barge led by the Commonwealth boats.

So.Many.Boats!

Probably my only good shot of the Duchess of Cambridge. :)

That's all that I took. Most times I was too engrossed in it that I forgot. They cancelled the "wow" moment though due to heavy rain. Oh, the London weather. Anyways, it was awesome eitherway.

Also, I have to salute the people who've braved the rain to participate in the 7 mile procession. Pray that you guys will get well soon!

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!!

Meet Gabe Bondoc :)

Just saw him on youtube literally 5 minutes ago and I must say he is already on my favourite list of youtube singer/songwriter next to David Choi and Kina Grannis. I absolutely love his rustic singing voice like John Mayer, which is why his cover of Half of My Heart won me over :)

Please go check it out guys!

Hot in Water

I just had to put it here. Isn't this smokin' hot?! On the cover of The Sun's Fabulous Mag and I really wish they sell these in KK! Oh my gosh, he is really undeniably hot. Don't you agree?

Sweat, Screams and Pixie dust.

28th May 2012

It was a Monday. Spent the whole morning listening to her songs from Turn It Up to Young Foolish Happy. I immediately fell in love with "Everybody Hurts Sometimes" and her dancing. To be honest, I didn't know that much about Pixie Lott, besides the fact that she's British and Mama Do is a hit until Heidi asked me to go with her to the showcase here in KK if we got the tickets. It was during the final exam that Heidi told me that she got VIP passes to the showcase. At first, it didn't hit me that the tickets included mine, but after a few minutes, I clicked, and the screaming and "fan-girling" followed on. I was over the moon when I realised that I don't have to repeat the Greyson Chance ordeal again.

So we reached 1Borneo at around 3pm. Went to get the album for the signing later on and watched Avengers. We were taking our time since there was no need to wait for the gates to open. So we were at Tutti Frutti having our youghurt when Heidi needed to go to the toilet. The nearest one was the RM1 one so we paid to get in.

 @TuttiFrutti

While waiting, Heidi got an emergency text from her mom that we needed to go to Speedy's. Since the ticket is in Pixie's entourage's hand, we wanted to get it from her ASAP. So without using the Premium toilet, we RAN to the video shop, only to find out that she won't be there in another 10 minutes. Well, there goes my one buck. Ha. But Aunt Claudia (Heidi's mum) gave us another 2 bucks to pee, so we went ahead with our business.

Our tickets were actually at the Hitz.fm booth outside the showcase. We met Melanie, who has a pretty cool job and got our tickets!
I like the way it glows :)

Fast forward to 8:30pm, and Pixie came up the stage. I immediately switched to Pixie Crazy Cat mode and tried to sing along to her songs. She was awesome on stage and the acoustic bit was amazing!
Seriously, the best photo I managed to take with my phone.

Everything seemed to speed up that time. After the showcase, we lined up for the album signing. We were trying to practice what we were going to say to Pixie, since it's a once in a lifetime chance. We also hugged the HitzKK DJs, Rica and Cheryl, it felt good to hug a local celeb. Eventually it was our turn and I went first. She saw my "I <3 London" tee and asked "Oh, you love London too?" I immediately was star-strucked. I think I replied her with a "Yeah, and you are amazing and I love you" and she went "Aww, thanks!" I couldn't move for a second there because she was so beautiful in person, and her accent just added that spark!

Saw Heidi jumping up and down after getting her album signed and we were all squealing and beaming. She told me that Pixie likes her necklace and the fact that Pixie knows her aunt (the person who got us the tickets) and said HI to her. Brandon tried to take pictures of us during the signing but failed. Oh well, at least we have the memories to live up to.

After eating at Old Town and parted ways with Heidi, I went to the Novotel to wait for Dad. I didn't want to wait at the main entrance because the hotel lobby had air-conditioner and Wi-Fi. After updating things on twitter and Instagram, I went out. Few minutes later, I saw Pixie's mum and dad coming out from the lobby. Then I saw Pixie climbing into the car and said "Goodbye Pixie!" and she said "Bye!" and I swear I stood there, staring at her car until it took off. 5 minutes later, I was in my own car, going back home.

It was a wonderful experience :) Again, thank you Heidi for bringing me along :)

Next concert, ANTHONY NEELY :D

Room sweet room

Finally I've moved back into the house, or as my dad likes to call it, Casa, and I've got my own room!
I've posted about it (Casa D Liza) sometime in April, but today's the finished product! Spent an entire day rearranging my books, postcards and clothes. Things are still somewhat messy but I'll sort that out after my energy comes back. So here they are, the pictures!

The comforter is handmade from Indonesia. Very comfy! :)

Day bed from Bali. Most of the furnitures here are.

 My wall of postcards!

Meet Bunny the bunny, Bear the bear, Hedwig the owl and Kanga the kangaroo.

My book shelf. Nearly had a breakdown from trying to categorize them.
Ain't easy, I'll tell you.

Well, that's all for now. Other places are either empty or too messy to show. Next time then. Maybe :)

Fun at the beach :)

It's been a while since I've been to the beach and our class just had a beach BBQ this afternoon. It was loads of fun hanging out with my classmates. They are a really fun and a great bunch of people. Here are some photos that I took with my phone (Camera 360 and Instagram), most of them are pretty good I shall say :)
Guys playing football under the sun :) The sky looked pretty.

Me with the big hat I bought from Langkawi. It really shields you from the Sun!
Great recommendation!

Meet the MIBA (Men In Black Asia)
They'll settle any trouble, well, maybe.
 :)

 Part of the class :)

Charlie thinks it's alive. Do you think it is?
