Senior One

*I would have put a cool senior photo of me and my gals walking down the hallways like Mean Girls, but sadly, I didn't have my camera with me. Plus, our hallways' too small to walk LIKE A BOSS, so just use your IMAGINATION, like Spongebob did*

2012.
I'm a first year senior. Science Stream.
Well, I got through the first couple of days. I hope I can get through the rest of the year without burning my brain cells. Mr. Wong, my advanced maths teacher, just came out with his expectations for his students. Which are pretty high, considering the fact that he wants 90% of us to get A+ or A1 in our SPM next year and UEC (Senior) after that. He talks very fast too when he teaches.

Maths in Chinese+Ultra Fast Speed=Me no comprendo.

Sighs. I guess I just have to try to comprendo then. It's good that he's okay with students not getting it at first. I guess I'll have to be the annoying always-asking-why student.
Either you'll love me or hate me.

Then, I am your class monitor, so I'd recommend the first choice. :)

Life, so recently

As everybody on the world knows, it was 11.11.11 yesterday.
To some, it's a day to make epic wishes and celebrate this historical day.
To others, it was just a normal day.

To fellow schoolmates, it was also the last day of school before the holidays start taking over, but to a few, it was a reminder that their biggest challenge is on the way--SPM. Really, we have to give them the props, it's hard to have exams when the rest of the world is celebrating the end of the year.

So yeah, had a lot of things going on for the last week of school. Football matches, training, reunion, GDOs, chasing Purple Myvi and Gala Dinner. Lost a lot of sleep thanks to them, gonna take back my beauty sleep when my hibernation starts! Don't know when.

Here are some photos!

 Junior 2 Ping 2010 Reunion
(we were trying to keep a straight face, I guess it didn't work out for some of them)
Sorry for the blurry photo, used my old camera.

Me and my crazy sister at my cousin's wedding.
(Like my earrings? I do!)

Chased down the Hitz Cruisers for the Greyson Chance's showcase.
It was indeed an adventure

11.11.11
(Chinese Cultural Festival)
 Yu Tian Long, 余畑龙
famous Hakka singer, know the song " 不要去英国" ?

Saw him LIVE.
Gary Cao Ge, , he is a Sabah-born international Superstar.
He is from my hometown, Kota Belud too!

Yeah that was pretty much the events that happened recently. Wanted to do an individual post for each, but that would have to wait. I hope this would keep you entertained for the moment. I hope.
Well then, I'm off to have dinner with my family.
ALL THE BEST to all who are sitting for their SPM this year. You guys can do it! :)

Just what have I been doing

I'm actually still on hiatus mode but I just wanted to give a little insight about what I have been doing for the past couple of weeks. Skipped school, went to the island, my first job as an interviewer/photographer, Raya and the visits from Oxford and Nottingham. Doesn't it sound exciting? Yes, it was.

Low line with the Internet so I might just post some photos and not blog for another couple of weeks.

We did charades and here's our team photo:

My awesome team with our awesome pic
from left Lezlee, Razi, Sabah and Me
They're just trying to be cool
from left Carl, Zulfi, Leon and Lois
Group photo!
 With the adults.

Now for the MICSS photos: (took only girls volleyball photos because was working there the whole competition)
These are a few of my favorite shots:

(there were more photos but the uploader was taking too long indeed, might try again later)

Tuesday, May 24

Oh, bio.

Halfway through final exam, and I'm still hanging on. Barely.

Today's paper, Science and Sejarah nearly killed most of the Form 3s. Especially Science. There were 33 different chapters, consisting of Biology, Physics and Chemistry topics in the syllabus and most of them don't even make sense to a normal mind.
You could say that most of us gave up the minute we realised that our brains just can't take in the parts of the body or Boyle's Law. There were a few hopefuls who try their best to not give up and carrying on reading, those are the people whom I salute. Even when the world has lost it's hope, they still strive on. For the greater good.
Yeah, it went a little melodramatic.
Bottom line, I'm preparing myself for the biggest defeat in my results and I think I can handle it. Fingers Crossed.

Oh anyways, Chinese is tomorrow, so I don't think I'll be doing much studying, as you can see, I'm blogging.
Mom's not around so fre-ee-eeeeedom!

By the way, anyone catching the Idol Final Showdown and the Grand Finale?
I know I'll be only catching the replays in the evening.
I want Scotty to win, but I also have a feeling that Lauren's going to win.

 Argh. Can't decide. But then,
quoting Jennifer Lopez,
"I'm glad it's up to America to decide!"

One more week!

Oh golly, what a week has it been. Trained 6 days in a row, and I just can't get enough.
One more week till the competition and to be frank, I am scared. I'm scared of failing. I just don't want to come home and feel like I've achieved nothing, I want to reach home with my head held high and hopefully, with a medal around my neck. Fingers crossed!

Finals has already started today, and will continue for the rest of next week. That means I have exams and fencing to focus on, at the same time. I think I'm handling it quite well. I hope.
Having the exams in the hall is quite frightening. One bad move and the whole Junior 3 will be there to witness it. Gulp.

Well, that's all I can say for now.
Will be missing the Idol Finale, and the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides screenings in the cinema.
Oh, the sacrifices one must make to fulfill one's dreams.

Be back soon!
Pray for me. :)
